Ross Dance Company,LLC a professional praise dance company, was founded by Dr.Tecsia Evans in August 2005
and is co-owned by her and Dwight Evans. Our mission is to use contemporary dance as a way to spread the Gospel
and to bring those closer to Christ. We are privileged to use our ministry as a way to equip and inspire praise dancers
all over the country. We reach over 125 churches and praise dance organizations each year through our classes,
performances, festivals and conferences. We have performed in a variety of theaters in New York City, Los Angeles,
Sacramento, San Francisco and Oakland where we are based. We are committed to community outreach and
educating young dancers. We foster professional development and the gift that God has given to young adult dancers
through our apprenticeship program. Our apprentices are mentored by the artistic director, engage in ongoing
classes, learn company repertoire and work closely with the company members.
In addition to performing and doing guest appearances, we offer monthly praise dance classes, choreography
workshops, annual praise dance conference and festivals in Oakland, Sacramento and Los Angeles. We also offer
low cost consultations and private workshops to praise dance programs to help them further their skills in leadership,
choreography, and teaching. Our anointed team of staff, volunteers and professional dancers are truly committed to
using our gifts to inspire,educate and give glory to God!
