2010 Class Series & Performances
Intermediate Praise Dance Class
Instructor: Tecsia Evans, Ross Director

Location: Shawl Anderson Studio, 2704 Alcatraz Avenue, Berkeley
Fee: $15
The purpose of this workshop will be to strengthen and broaden the tools that
leaders and choreographers use when creating praise dances for their ministries.
Class is open to all levels. Due to a limited amount of space, the last day to RSVP

2010 BAY AREA TOUR
“More Than” is an invigorating program featuring contemporary jazz dance set to
song and spoken word. This program will include the return of “Alicia,” “Indifferent”
by renowned choreographer Helen Estrella, and “Conquer” a world premier by
artistic director Tecsia Evans.

Join us for our 5th home season. Following the show mingle with the dancers,
family, and friends during our post show reception where we will feature light
refreshments and live drummer Madiou Diouf from the renowned Diamano Coura
West African Dance Company.

Location: Laney College Theater at 900 Fallon Street, Oakland

Come together as a community to celebrate the Gospel through praise dance in the
Bay Area. We will be featuring featuring Fame Praise Dance Ministry from
Oakland, Mt. Zion Baptist Church from Redwood, Gospel Girls from Antioch, Cherie
Romar from LA, Ascension from Sacramento, Word Assembly Church from
Oakland, Covenant Worship Center from Berkeley and First Baptist Church from
Antioch. There will also be a guest performance by Ross Dance, musical
performance by Covenant Worship Center's choir and a live music and dance
collaboration with Erik Lee and K2. Also during pre and post show “For His Glory” a
company from Oregon, that specializes in praise dance flags, streamers and other
props will have their items available for purchase. This event will sell out so we
encourage you to purchase your tickets soon. Don't miss out on a wonderful move
of God!!!
