Calling for Praise Dancers for our Festivals
Currently we are looking for praise dance groups and individuals to minister in our praise dance
festivals in the Bay Area, Sacramento and Los Angeles. The purpose of our festivals is to come
together as a community to fellowship and celebrate the Gospel through dance. As a participant in
the festival you will have the opportunity to minister to a diverse community in a professional theater
setting. You will receive close mentorship from Ross professional staff that will provide ongoing
support, consultation and personally meet with your ministry to give feedback on your piece. At Ross
Dance, we continue to look for ways in which we can support and strengthen praise dance ministries.
One of the ways we do this is by pouring back into groups through our monetary awards offered at
the festivals. The purpose of these awards is to not create a competitive atmosphere but it is solely
to be a blessing to other ministries so that they may have additional resources to support the work
they are doing for God’s kingdom. If you are looking for a unique opportunity to excel your ministry
and use your talent as a way to bring those closer to Christ, then we encourage you and your

2012 Praise Dance Conferences
Ross Dance Company is pleased to announce that this summer we will be presenting our Bay Area
Praise Dance Conference on Saturday June 23, 2012 at Oakland's Malonga Center for the Arts with
two separate programs for adults and children (ages 7-11). On Saturday July 28, 2012 we will be
offering our Los Angeles Praise Dance Conference at LA's Psalms 30:11 School of Dance.
For our conferences we offer a full day of classes and workshops to assist praise dancers,
choreographers, and directors in strengthening their praise ministries and dance technique. We
provide classes on leadership, choreography, performance skills and dance technique. One of our
objectives is to provide an encouraging environment where individuals can fellowship together while
learning skills that will be helpful in starting or managing a praise dance ministry.
For our children's conference in Oakland we create a fun and supportive environment where they
learn basic dance technique, performance skills and praise dance choreography. To receive a
discounted rate for our conferences submit your registration by April 5th (Bay Area) and May 15th
(LA). Regular registration is June 5th (Bay Area) and July 15th (LA).

Volunteer Positions
Do you have a passion for praise dance and would like to get involved with Ross' ministry? For 2012,
Ross Dance will be expanding its annual praise dance conference and festival. We are looking for
volunteers to assist with the execution of these events. If you have skills in administration, dance
instruction, advertising, stage managing, or ushering please contact tecsia@rossdance.com or 510-
828-5760 for further information on being a volunteer.
