OPEN COMPANY AUDITION PROCEDURES:
Auditions are open to dancers 18 years and older. There is no fee to attend
the audition and no advance registration is required. Dancers must bring a
head shot photo, completed application, a video or dvd of dancer in a past
performance and resume. Also dancers must present a 45 second solo, that
must be prepared before attending the audition. Please be dressed in neat,
form-fitting dance attire and be prepared to learn contemporary jazz
choreography. Dancers will be notified if they will proceed to the interview
process within 2 business days after the audition. For further questions

Audition Date and Time: Saturday November 14, 2009 12:00-2:00 pm at
Shawl Anderson Studio, 2704 Alcatraz Avenue, Berkeley, CA.

Contract Dates: December 2009-June 2010

Rehearsal Days: Tuesday and Fridays at Shawl Anderson Studio, Berkeley.

Ross Dance is seeking professional dancers that have experience in
contemporary jazz. We are seeking male and female dancers of all ethnic
backgrounds. We currently have company and apprenticeship positions
available. Our paid company positions are available for professional dancers.

Our apprenticeship positions offers dancers who are just beginning their
careers an opportunity to perform with professional dancers, participate in
weekly technique classes, and work with outstanding choreographers while
receiving close mentorship from the director.

Plus for individuals auditioning for professional company
*Have experience in other styles such as Ballet, Hip Hop, or African
*Have acting skills
*Has been a dancer for a professional company
