2007 Summer Dance Conference

Ross Dance is pleased to announce that this summer we will be offering a two day
program that caters to young dancers, adults, and professionals who participate in
companies, studios, and all-star dance teams. Our staff compose of company members
from Ross Dance, members of the Alvin Ailey summer camp in Oakland, Urban Ballet, and
Malonga Center for the Arts. Our staff also has worked and judge for companies such as
JAMZ, Oakland Ballet, and Company C.
Our staff is dedicated in helping individuals become versatile dancers. We teach skills that
will improve a dancer’s technical abilities so he/she may perform better at the next
audition, performance, competition or class. The first day will cater to
beginner/intermediate dancers by teaching technique classes and dance combos in hip
hop and jazz. The second day will cater to advance and professional dancers by teaching
master level classes in jazz, modern, hip hop, and contemporary ballet.
Registration & Payment deadline is May 10, 2007. Our program will be held at San
Francisco Dance Center, the school for Lines Ballet and the rehearsal home for Ross
Dance. SFDC is in the middle of downtown and the shopping district. All participants must
complete a registration form which can be downloaded below.
